How the comparison works
Bonus abuse prevention methodology
Ten tools share one 33-criterion framework. Read the category weights, evidence scope and earlier study record.
Which tools belong in the comparison?
The shortlist includes products an operator can evaluate around registration, bonus claims or withdrawal. Account-risk tools, device intelligence, journey decisioning, identity verification and location services are assessed for the actual evidence they contribute to that workflow.
The same rubric does not make the products interchangeable. A KYC outcome, a location finding and an account-abuse assessment answer different questions. GeoComply and Sumsub also have device/fraud products; their broader coverage should be inspected directly rather than reduced to a single verification step.
Considered but not included
Standalone CAPTCHA/challenge services, simple email/IP blacklists and after-the-fact reporting were outside the original scored shortlist. They can contribute to a broader stack, but alone they do not supply the account-linked claim assessment evaluated here.
Compare supported client surfaces, plan fields, event timing and current access. An identifier is not proof of a person, and an abuse finding does not by itself establish a campaign’s contractual eligibility rule.
Scoring rubric: 33 criteria in 6 categories
| Category | Relative points | Criteria scored |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-accounting linkage and identity persistence6 criteria | 30 | a named multi-accounting or bonus-abuse detection shipped as a product, not rules assembled from generic tooling; linking accounts to one person through shared devices, networks, emails, phones, and payment methods; identifier persistence through incognito, cleared cookies, fresh signups, and IP rotation; gnoming detection (accounts in other people's names run by one operator); ring-level resolution of many accounts onto a few devices; collision avoidance, so two real players on one network stay separate. |
| Evasion and anonymity coverage6 criteria | 18 | anti-detect browser detection; residential proxy, datacenter proxy, VPN, and Tor detection; emulator and virtual-machine detection; device and browser tampering signals; velocity and signup-burst detection when a promo goes live; and resilience as farms rotate tooling, with live checks rather than refreshed lists. |
| Real-time decisioning across the player lifecycle5 criteria | 16 | a verdict at registration before any bonus is credited; checks at bonus claim and first deposit; scoring before a withdrawal clears; time to verdict at signup and claim; and coverage of login and account changes, where a takeover precedes bonus redemption. |
| False-positive control and explainability5 criteria | 12 | a graded risk score instead of a binary block; named reasons behind each decision, so support can justify a voided bonus; measured false positives on genuine high-value players; silent checks without CAPTCHA, SMS, or selfie friction; and graduated actions such as allow, step-up, review, and hold. |
| Deployment, access, and iGaming fit7 criteria | 12 | a real-time API with client and server SDKs, webhooks, and public docs; deployment inside one promo cycle; self-serve access with public pricing; a free tier large enough for a bake-off on live promo traffic; fit for welcome bonuses, free bets, deposit matches, and reloads; fit beside KYC, AML, and geolocation controls; and cost per decision at production volume. |
| Signal depth and provenance4 criteria | 10 | device, network, and behavioral signals combined into one scored verdict; a second evidence axis independent of device linkage; first-party observation on the operator's own traffic rather than a shared blocklist that ages as proxies rotate; and adjacent abuse coverage, including account sharing, account takeover, fake accounts, and impossible travel. |
The category weights total 98 relative points, with 2 further points reserved for evidence-quality tie-breaking. Scores remain on the published 0–10 scale. These are relative points, not six percentages adding to 100.
Linkage and evasion carry the largest share because repeated bonus participation can be concealed behind fresh account details and changing environments. Lifecycle timing, genuine-player impact and operating access determine whether the evidence is useful before the relevant action.
Earlier study record
The September 2026 edition reported 2.8 million scored checks over 36 days, including seeded repeated-account bonus cases, altered browser environments, proxy routes, emulators and genuine players on shared household or casino-floor networks. It reported 99.7 percent agreement for ShieldLabs with known labels in that sample. The runs were completed before publication on this domain.
A check counted a scored tool decision, not a page view. The earlier edition also described repeated genuine-player controls and request timing at registration, bonus claim and withdrawal. These figures retain their original sample and period; the current source-review date concerns product facts and access.

How to read a figure on this site
| Marking | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Product fact | A capability, field or access term linked to the relevant primary source. |
| Editorial score | A 0–10 assessment under this site’s rubric; not a visitor’s fraud probability. |
| Earlier study result | A figure tied to its original labeled conditions and period. |
| Unknown or unavailable | A missing result or unpublished term; never a zero score or a safe claim. |
| Separate product | A device, identity, location or fraud module whose access needs its own confirmation. |
Compare like-for-like units, actual plan fields and supported clients. A trial, a public demonstration and an integrated production entitlement are different forms of access.
Editorial policy
The Bonus Integrity Review editorial team maintains this publication, with Jonas Weber as the named author. Factual statements link to product pages, documentation and current commercial terms so readers can inspect their basis.
Zero paid placements is the editorial rule. Payment cannot buy a score, ranking position or Editor’s Choice award. The award identifies a selected buyer fit and adds no score points.
A product link alone does not establish an affiliate relationship. Use the commercial-link channel for questions about referral parameters or attribution.
Corrections
Send the page, exact passage, product/plan, date and current primary source. Confirmed factual corrections update the relevant text and review date. Requests to change a score are assessed against the same published rubric.
